Hot and spicey, very moorish! Can be varied to suit your taste.


  • 1 ts salt,

  • 1 ts pepper,

  • 1 ts mustard powder,

  • 1 ts curry powder

  • 1 dessert spoon tomato sauce,

  • 1 dessert spoon worcestershire sauce

  • 1 Tbs oil

  • 1 Tbs malt vinegar

  • Approx 8 skinless chicken thighs

  • 4 rashers bacon


  • 1.

    Mix all ingredients except bacon and chicken, to a paste.

  • 2.

    Place chicken in a greased casserole dish and cook in med oven for 20 mins.

  • 3.

    Take out, pour off most of the chicken fat, then pour over sauce mix and place rolled bacon rashers on top, cook a further 30 mins or until cooked through.

  • 4.

    (in original recipe, chicken fat was not poured off however the sauce at the end is very runny and probably very unhealthy!!)

  • 5.

    Serve with mash and vegies or rice.
