Add all 3 ingredients, mix, cut, cook, eat. Simple! Takes one bowl, spoon and baking tray. No more hockey pucks!!


  • 3 cups self raising flour

  • 1 cup cream

  • 1 cup lemonade


  • 1.

    Put flour in bowl

  • 2.

    Add cream and fold in

  • 3.

    Add lemonade and mix through

  • 4.

    Place on floured board and pat into shape - approx square and 2.3cm thick

  • 5.

    Cut out scones (no twisting!) bake on tray on a layer of baking paper

  • 6.

    Brush over a little milk

  • 7.

    Cook at 200F (fan forced) approx 25 mins or until golden brown

  • 8.

    Remove from oven and allow to cool

  • 9.

    Eat with your favourite topping whilst being amazed that you made scones with lemonade.

  • 10.

    Makes 12 and a smidge.


Don't over handle the dough - there's no need to get too particular with this recipe. It just works!
