Festive Icecream with chocolate fruit and nuts


  • 2 litres Vanilla Icecream

  • 8 oz Dark Chocolate

  • 4 oz Cherries

  • 8 oz Sultanas

  • 1 tbsp Brandy

  • 4 oz Almonds

  • 2 tsp Mixed Spice


  • 1.

    Soften icecream. Melt the chocolate over hot water. Toast the almonds in butter. Fold fruit, spice and almonds into the chocolate. Fold chocolate mixture into the icecream. Freeze.


You can use glace or fresh cherries or leave them out altogether. Make sure the icecream is softend but not too much or it can go icy when refrozen.
