Plum Flapjack

Delicious served hot or cold with cream or custard


  • 1 tin plums

  • 100 g rolled oats

  • 50 g sugar

  • 75 g butter (melted)

  • Cinnamon


  • 1.

    Place plums in bottom of a casserole dish with some of their juice. Sprinkle well with cinnamon (ginger also works well).

  • 2.

    Melt butter, add sugar and rolled oats and mix well. Spoon mixture over plums and bake at 200° C for 10 mins.

  • 3.

    The baking time may vary depending on your oven. The topping should still be slightly soft as it hardens on cooling.

  • 4.

    Serve with custard or cream (or both if your diet has gone out the window!).

  • 5.

    A scrumptious dessert.
