This recipe is an old favourite passed down from my Aunty Glad, who is now 93 years old.
NB: make sure you peel the chokos under cold running water or else you may lose the skin from your hands!!!
Cut chokos and onions into small cubes.
Soak overnight with one cup water and 2 Tbsp salt.
Boil in the same water and then strain.
Add boiled vinegar.
Add remaining ingredients and cook for 30 minutes.
