Great filling can be used in all sorts of pastry for serving.
Heat margarine in saucepan, fry shallots until soft. Add flour and stir over low heat for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and gradually add stock and cream. Season to taste.
Stir till sauce thickens. When thickened remove form heat add diced chicken and ham. Allow to cool.
Divide mixture between the 2 sheets of pastry and make into strudel shape.
You could also make 1 large pie.
Brush with milk and slash holes in tops.
Bake in hot oven 200c for 20-25 minutes or till golden.
Serve with vegetables
