llike a tuna mornay but without the pasta


  • 1 x 450gm tin of Tuna chunks in brine

  • 1 x 100gm tin of Chilli Tuna

  • 1 x 100gm tin of Lemon Pepper Tuna

  • 1 x egg

  • 150grams breadcrumbs

  • 60grm butter

  • .5 cup peas

  • .5 cup corn

  • 1 x small onion

  • 200grams of Mozeralla Cheese

  • 6 ramekins


  • 1.

    Boil egg till hard boiled

  • 2.

    Grease ramekins with part of the butter

  • 3.

    Thin layer of breadcrumbs on top of butter

  • 4.

    Put remaining butter in saucepan

  • 5.

    Put sliced onions in

  • 6.

    Drain the brine from the Tuna, put the rest of the Tuna cans into saucepan

  • 7.

    Mix thoroughly, if a bit dry add a few drops of milk or cream

  • 8.

    Put peas, corn, chopped egg into mixture

  • 9.

    Layer with Mozarella Cheese.

  • 10.

    Put into baking tin with water (like a Bain Marie) put into oven at 200C, bake for 15 minutes, check to see if cheese is melted and golden brown, if so bring out of the oven to serve with a side salad of lettuce, tomatoes and red onion slices.


You could use just cream = but we have lactose intolerant people
No one is keen on Pasta hence this meal is sufficient without but Pasta would make the ingrediants go further
