This is a delicious slice you'll love to make for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 x 250 g packet of Shredded Wheat biscuits

  • 200 g butter, melted

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • 1 cup chocolate chips

  • 2 cups shredded coconut

  • 1/3 cup macadamia nuts, roughly chopped

  • 1 x 395 g tin of condensed milk

Method

  • 1.

    Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease and line a 20 x 20 cm baking pan.

  • 2.

    Using a food processor, crush the shredded wheat biscuits to an even crumb. Place into a bowl, add the salt, and stir. Add melted butter and stir until combined.

  • 3.

    Pour the mix into the baking pan and press firmly to ensure the mix is evenly spread over the bottom of the pan.

  • 4.

    Combine the chocolate chips, coconut and macadamia nuts in a bowl. Sprinkle evenly over the base mixture.

  • 5.

    Pour condensed milk evenly over the top.

  • 6.

    Bake for approximately 25-30 minutes until golden brown.

  • 7.

    Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

This recipe is best made with shredded coconut. My sister made it using dessicated coconut and it just wasn't the same.
