low fat high fibre health cake ,my mums old favourite recipe


  • 2.5 cups dreid fruit

  • .5 cup chopped nuts

  • 2 table spoon butter

  • 1 tea spoon spice

  • 1 cup water

  • .75 cup stewed fruit

  • .25 cup apple concentrate

  • 1 tea spoon of bicarb soda

  • boil above ingredients

  • then cool and add ingredients below

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 cups wholemeal flour

  • 4 tea spoons baking powder


  • 1.

    Place in preheated oeven at 180 for one hours approx.
