Quick and easy after work meal - great for kids!


  • Garlic roti (buy from Supermarket) pkt 8

  • Low fat cheese (grated)

  • Avocado x2

  • Roma tomatoes x4

  • 500g quality porterhouse steak

  • Herbies brand cajun mix


  • 1.

    Chop the avocado & tomatoes into small cubes and place in individual bowls. Grate the cheese into another bowl.

  • 2.

    Remove any visable fat from the steak, then slice into 2cm cubes. Season with fresh pepper and salt. Sprinkle with Cajun seasoning (to taste).

  • 3.

    Heat a non-stick fry pan with 1 x tablespoon of qaulity olive oil. When heated suffeiently place the steak into the pan and sear all over. Remove from heat after 2-3 minutes. Place roti in either the microwave for 1 minute or oven for 5 minutes to heat.

  • 4.

    Simple searve by taking a roti, placing 5-6 pieces of steak, avocado, tomato and cheese and wrapping to create a tasty and satisfying meal in minutes that the whole family will love!


You can add onion, capsicum or rocket to the wrap if desired. Tzatziki or minted greek youghurt can help take the heat out of the cajun if you don't like it too hot.
