Lasagna sheets rolled up with chicken pieces and sauce and covered with a cream mixture - My son absolutely loves this and he is a fussy eater!!


  • 1 packet of fresh lasagna sheets

  • 700g of dices chicken ( I like to use tenderloins but any cut will do)

  • 1 bottle of extra garlic bolognese sauce

  • 1 Tblsp Olive Oil

  • Parmesan Cheese - half cup

  • 600 mls cream

  • Clove garlic

  • knob of butter - 50g

  • Salt and Pepper to taste

  • 1 deep lasagna dish - greased


  • 1.

    Pre heat oven to 180C

  • 2.

    Heat frypan on medium heat

  • 3.

    Add olive oil and chicken pieces - cook until brown all over

  • 4.

    Add three quarters of bolognese sauce to chicken mixture, mix in and turn heat down to a simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.

    Pour cream into saucepan and place on medium heat.

  • 6.

    Give the garlic a bit of a smack with knife and add to cream, also add knob of butter.

  • 7.

    Once cream has heated up and butter has melted take out garlic clove and add pepper and salt to taste. Put aside.

  • 8.

    Get lasagna sheets and cut in half, you will need about 8 to 10 depending on the size of your dish

  • 9.

    Place a couple of spoonfulls of chicken mixture onto each sheet and then sprinkle on some parmesan cheese.

  • 10.

    Then roll up sheets and place in dish, once dish is filled sprinke rolls with the remaining bolognese sauce then cover with the cream mixture.

  • 11.

    Depending on your oven this should take about 35 to 40 minutes to cook.

  • 12.

    Rest for a few minutes then serve

I like to use the extra garlic sauce but any type is okay. I usually serve this with a garden salad and garlic bread. You could also add onion to the chicken mixture, my family are not onion lovers.
