Great for the parties, picnic or just a snack, these cup cakes are loved by all ages.


  • 5 eggs

  • 125 ml vegetable oil

  • 125 ml milk

  • 20 tablespoons of sugar

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 15 tablespoons of flour

  • 10 tablespoons of almond meal

  • caramel flavouring


  • 1.

    Preheat the oven to 180C (conventional) or 160C (fan forced).

  • 2.

    Beat eggs, oil, milk and sugar in a mixing bowl and gradually add flour, baking powder and almond meal. Add caramel flavouring as you wish, depending on the taste.

  • 3.

    Spoon batter into prepared paper lined 1/3 cup muffin pan.

  • 4.

    Bake for about 10-15 minutes

    There is so many ways to decorate cupcakes.

  • 6.

    For a basic frosting, you can beat 90g butter and gradually add 1 1/2 cup of sifted icing sugar. Add some caramel flavouring to the butter mixture.

  • 7.

    You can also make cream cheese frosting by beating 100 g softened cream cheese with 90 g sifted icing sugar. Add flavouring as desired.

  • 8.

    If you have more time on your hands- you can add some colours to Ready To Roll icing and cutt out different shapes to cover your cakes.


Ready to Roll icing (Plastic icing) is available on the supermarket shelves as well as different colours.
