Childhood favourite, lovely crunchy chocolate biscuit, simple to make.
Soften butter, add sugar and beat to a creamy texture, add sifted flour, cocoa and lastly add the cornflakes.
Put spoonfuls on a greased oven tray and bake for about 15 minutes at 180C.
Cool completely on cooling rack.
Ice with chocolate icing and put a walnut on top of icing.
Sift together 1/2 cup icing sugar and about a tablespoon of cocoa add a small amount of water (about a tsp at a time) mix until smooth. Do not add to much water as the icing should not be to runny
Keeps well in airtight tin, great with a glass of milk or cup of tea.
