Lite and healthy


  • Puff pastry sheets

  • large sausage meat roll

  • 1 dice onion chopped finely

  • 1 egg

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen grated cheese chopped up to almost breadcrumbs

  • bunch parsely chopped finely

  • grated carrot

  • grated zucchini (optional)

  • 2-3 cups of cooked rice (this makes the sausage roll light and not too meaty)

  • salt and pepper


  • 1.

    Mix and place them on puff pastry sheets roll them into sausage rolls and cut to required lengths.

  • 2.

    Put slits in rolls and egg wipe the tops to brown.

  • 3.

    Bake in a 220 fan forced oven for 20min.. or until golden brown.

  • 4.

    I have alot of people asking for this receipe. YUM!!!!!!
