Crunchy Thai Salad

great sweet/sour tasting salad for the hot bbq days

Ingredients

  • 1 cos lettuce/chinese cabbage

  • 100 g slithered almonds

  • 100 g sunflower seeds

  • 1 pkt 'cheng' crunchy noodles (dry)

  • spring onions

  • dressing:

  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • .5 cup grapeseed oil

Method

  • 1.

    Roast almonds and cool

  • 2.

    Finely chop up lettuce or cabbage and spring onion

  • 3.

    Add sunflower seeds, cooled almonds and spring onion

  • 4.

    Do not add noodles and dressing until you are ready to serve
