Delicious pizza of Caramelised Onion, Smoked Salmon, Horseradish Cream topped with capers and Lemon Tartare Sauce


  • Large or individual pizza bases

  • Smoked Salmon

  • 3 large onions

  • Masterfoods Horseradish Cream

  • Masterfoods Lemon Tartare Sauce

  • Capers


  • 1.

    Pan fry sliced onions in butter until rich and caramelised (10 - 15 mins)

  • 2.

    Spread a thin layer of horseradish cream over pizza or bread base

  • 3.

    Top with caramelised onion

  • 4.

    Place thin slices of smoked salmon (as required) over onions

  • 5.

    Top with small amount of lemon tartare sauce and spread a little

  • 6.

    Top with as many capers as you would like

  • 7.

    Heat in a 350 degree oven for approx 10 - 12 mins

  • 8.

    Serve hot.


1. Substitute pizza for cut french loaf, foccaccia or flat breads
2. Substitute smoked salmon for Gravalax or Smoked Trout
3. Can be done as small individual pizza or cut out small discs for canapes
4.Nice hot or cold
