Sweet, juicy pears work brilliantly with creamy custard. This is so easy to make. Just bung it all in a blender and whiz it up.


  • 500g tin of good quality custard

  • 415g tin of pears in natural juice

  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract


  • 1.

    Place the custard into a food processor

  • 2.

    Add the pears, using only half the juice, and the vanilla extract, whiz until smooth and creamy. Serve chilled.
