A fun variation on the old fashioned chip. Great in butties, or dipped in chilli sauce, mayonnaise or ketchup.


  • 4 sweet potatoes, half cooked, cooled and dried

  • Small tub of sour cream

  • Sweet chilli sauce

  • Oil for deep fat frying

    Cut the sweet potato into thick cut chips buttie style. Deep fry the chips until crispy. Drain on a plate with paper towels. Serve the chips with sour cream and sweet chili sauce.
