Blanch the sprouts for 4 to 5 minutes in boiling salted water then drain.
Pre-heat a large frying pan then add in the strips of streaky bacon and fry until crisp.
Add in the balsamic vinegar, sprouts and butter and toss until caramelised.
Season to taste.
