This is one of the simplest of pasta dishes which you can throw from everyday ingredients like tinned tuna and frozen peas. What's more, it's ready in ten minutes.


  • 400g tagliatelle

  • 4 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 onion, finely sliced or diced

  • 250g frozen peas

  • 1 tin tuna in olive oil, drained

  • salt and pepper

    Cook the pasta according to packet instructions. Heat the oil in a large frying pan. Add in the onion and sauté until soft, add in the frozen peas and tuna and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Drain the pasta and add to the onion and peas together with the tuna. Toss to combine and season to taste.
