• 4 quinces

  • 275 ml verjuice

  • 375 g Sugar


  • 1.

    Preheat the oven 240 c

  • 2.

    Simmer Verjuice with sugar and reduce.

  • 3.

    Slice the quince and place in a roasting tray, spoon some of the hot syrup over the quinces and bake in a hot oven for about ½ hour.

  • 4.

    Turn them frequently and reduce the oven temp and continue to roast until quinces are red and soft.

  • 5.

    To serve, arrange the sliced quinces on a plate, add some of the reduced liquid and garnish with clotted cream.

This looks lovely!!! I don't have a nice recipe for quinces!!! Thanks for sharing this one with us!!!
