Berry Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 450g/1lb mixed summer berries

  • 2 oranges, juice only

  • ¼ watermelon, flesh only

  • 2.5cm/1in piece fresh ginger, grated

  • crushed ice, to serve

Method

  • 1.

    In a blender mix the summer berries with the orange juice.

  • 2.

    Add the watermelon flesh and grated ginger and process again.

  • 3.

    Pour into long glasses half filled with crushed ice and serve.

  • 4.

    As a variation, try using mango flesh or bananas.
