A mackerel, ricotta, chives, lemon juice mixture is cooked in lasagne sheets and served with warm cheese and rocket.


  • 1 packet of fresh lasagne sheets

  • Mackerel fillet (approx 100g)

  • 50g ricotta

  • 2 eggs yolks, beaten

  • 2 tbsp chives, chopped

  • Salt

  • black pepper

  • Lemon juice

  • Olive oil

  • To serve

  • Rocket leaves

  • Shop bought cheese sauce


  • 1.

    Bring a pan of water to the boil.

  • 2.

    In a bowl, mix together mackerel, ricotta, chives, lemon juice and season.

  • 3.

    On a piece of clingfilm, drizzle some oil and place lasagne sheet on top.

  • 4.

    Roll up lasagne sheet and seal with egg yolk.

  • 5.

    Place pasta roll into pan of boiling water and cook for 3-4 minutes.

  • 6.

    Serve with warm cheese sauce and rocket leaves.
