The feijoa, also known as the pineapple guava and the guavasteen, is an exotic and interesting fruit that is native to South America and is also grown in New Zealand and in the United States, in California and Florida.


  • 2 venison sausages

  • 2 feijoas roughly sliced

  • 0.5 Spanish Onion roughly sliced

  • 1 long green shallot roughly sliced lengthways

  • 0.5 bunch Mint

  • 2 long green chilli's roughly chopped

  • 2 Limes juiced

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • sea salt

  • freshly ground Black pepper


  • 1.

    Grill the sausages on a hot BBQ & slice.

  • 2.

    Mix together with all remaining ingredients & toss gently.
