Home Made Bread

Makes 6 small cobs


  • 1 kg baker's Flour

  • 20 g Yeast or 3x7grm Sachets of Dry Yeast

  • 15 g bread improver

  • 15 g table Salt

  • 10 g Honey

  • 550 g Water lukewarm

  • 20 g Extra Virgin Olive Oil


  • 1.

    Make sure the dough hook attachment is on the mix master.

  • 2.

    Place all ingredients into mix master and allow to knead/mix for 15 min on low speed

  • 3.

    Take dough out of mix master and shape into cob loaf shapes.

  • 4.

    Place onto prepared greased baking tray / and or baking paper and leave to prove (allowing the yeast to activate in a controlled environment) for 1 hour in a humid/warm place eg (heat oven then turn off)

  • 5.

    Once proven (the bread should have expanded and doubled in size) place tray straight into a heated oven at 200* and bake for 12-15 minutes.
