A great recipe for Mexico's famous avocado dip that can be served at any party and be enjoyed.


  • 3 Hass Avocados

  • 1 Tomato seeded, chopped

  • 1 jalapeno chilli

  • 2 shallots finely sliced

  • 2 Limes juiced

  • 1 tablespoon Coriander

  • Salt


  • 1.

    Roughly mash the avocado with a fork. Add the chopped jalapeƱo chilli, limejuice, shallots, tomato, coriander and salt and pepper.

I made this tonight - added the lime juice gradually at the end to ensure not too runny. Added a teaspoon of crushed garlic and three tablespoons of sour cream at the end. A beautiful chunky guacamole with delicious flavour. Fantastic recipe - thanks!
