Combining three incredibly healthy spices in these delicious high-energy treats. Perfect snacks to reduce cravings.
Preheat the oven to 180C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Mix the almond meal, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a bowl then add the melted butter or coconut oil and your sweetener and mix well until you have a lovely dough. Roll into a ball and rest in the fridge for 10–15 minutes.
Remove the dough from the fridge using a teaspoon, scoop out portions of the mixture and roll into small balls (optional) and arrange on the prepared tray. Then using the back of the spoon or your finger tips flatten to make discs, smoothing over the edges and bake for about 8-10 minutes depending
On thickness, or until the base and edges are golden.
Leave on the tray to cool and store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
