This recipe is a great way to use up your slightly stale leftover hot cross buns. The custardy goodness makes them fresh and soft.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Break up your hot cross buns and place them in an oven proof bowl or casserole dish.
Break up your leftover Easter eggs and sprinkle them over the top of the hot cross buns.
Beat together the eggs, sugar, milk, vanilla and flour and pour over the mixture.
Cook for about 30 minutes or until the custard is thick and the top is golden brown.
Drizzle with chocolate sauce.
Serve hot, with ice cream!
