This recipe can be used with any veggies you enjoy and adapted to include meat or seafood. Just make sure you slice your meats very thinly so they cook quickly and evenly. 


  • 2 cups SunRice Jasmine Fragrant rice

  • 3 tbsp vegetable-based oil

  • 3 large cloves garlic, peeled, chopped finely

  • 2 bunches Choy Sum, stalks separated, rinsed

  • 2 tbsp Shaoxing rice wine

  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce or fish sauce

  • Pinch of sugar

    Cook SunRice Jasmine Fragrant rice following packet instructions.

  • 2.

    Next, combine the vegetable oil and garlic in a large non-stick fry pan or seasoned wok over high heat. When the garlic is pale golden and aromatic add the Choy Sum, Shaoxing rice wine, oyster sauce and sugar.

  • 3.

    Stir-fry for about 10 seconds so the veggies maintain their crunch. Serve immediately with steamed rice.
