A wholesome, tasty breakfast. 


  • 2 apples, grated

  • 2 cups rolled oats

  • 1 cup apple juice

  • 1 cup greek yoghurt plus extra to serve

  • 2 pinches ground cinnamon

  • 4 tbsp pumpkin seeds

  • 4 tbsp sunflower seeds

  • 4 tbsp sesame seeds

  • 2 tsp flaxseed meal

  • 2 tbsp mixed nuts e.g. almonds, hazelnuts, macadamia (optional)

  • 1 punnet fresh berries, to serve


  • 1.

    Combine the apple, oats, apple juice, yoghurt and cinnamon in a bowl and stir well. Cover and refrigerate overnight (or if making the same morning, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour).

  • 2.

    When ready to serve stir through seeds, flaxseed meal and nuts. Top with berries and serve with dollops of extra yoghurt.
