A much more exciting way to top your toast in the morning. 

Ingredients

  • 1 slice sourdough bread

  • 1/4 avocado

  • 1 1/2 tbsp raw walnuts, roughly chopped

  • 1 tbsp pepitas (pumpkin seeds)

  • 1/4 tsp chilli flakes, to taste

  • 1/2 tsp olive oil (extra virgin)

  • Salt & pepper to taste

  • 1/2 lemon sliced into wedges to serve

Method

  • 1.

    Toast sourdough until golden.

  • 2.

    Spread toast with avocado and top with walnuts, pepitas and chilli flakes.

  • 3.

    Drizzle over olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice.
