Start the week off on the right foot with this soul-soothing porridge that combines the wintery flavours of honeyed apples, oats, and cinnamon in a healthy bowl of goodness.
Roughly chop your apples and place them in a saucepan with the honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and water. Bring to a simmer, cover with a lid, and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring regularly.
In another saucepan, combine the oats and milk. Bring to the boil over a medium heat, then lower to a simmer and cook for 4-5 minutes or until done.
Divide the oats into bowls and top with the cooked apples, yoghurt, and cinnamon. Add a little honey if desired.
