These fun halloumi and asparagus skewers make the perfect vegetarian appetiser for your next BBQ.
Slice halloumi into strips, roughly 1cm thick.
Snap the ends off your asparagus to ensure you only have the fresh parts. Then cut each stork in half or into thirds (about 3cm in length).
Skewer two pieces of asparagus, then a piece of halloumi and repeat, finishing with asparagus stalks.
Place on grill until cooked (it will only take a few minutes).
Serve with torn mint leaves and a squeeze of lemon juice.
