Also known as 'Jeera Vellam', this cumin-based digestive tea is born from 5,000-year-old Ayurvedic techniques and natural medicine practices in India. The main ingredient, cumin, helps the body absorb nutrients, eliminate waste, generate warmth, and transform physical matter into energy.
Put all the ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat and bring to the boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
Remove from the heat and set aside for 2 minutes before straining. Cool to room temperature and divide between four glasses to serve.
