If you've been buying it from the supermarket, you probably don't realise how easy it is to make at home.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries crushed

  • 2 part citric acid

  • 1 part bi-carb soda

  • 2 parts icing sugar

Method

  • 1.

    Crush freeze dried strawberries in mortar and pestle till they are a dust.

  • 2.

    Measure your citric acid (2 parts) , bi-carb (1 part)  and icing sugar (2 parts) in separate bowls.

  • 3.

    Combine all ingredients in a bowl.

  • 4.

    Store in an airtight container.
