This gorgeous breakfast recipe made with wholegrain rice, coconut milk and a plethora of delicious fruits.


  • 1/2 cup Tilda Wholegrain Basmati

  • 2 cups coconut milk (about 1 can)

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp rice flour

  • To serve

  • Mangoes

  • Bananas

  • Blueberries

  • Dried Coconut Flakes


  • 1.

    Bring the coconut milk to a boil

  • 2.

    Add the rice, and simmer for 30 min, covered, stirring occasionally.

  • 3.

    Add the rice flour and brown sugar and stir to combine. Add a splash water if the mixture is too dry for your liking.

  • 4.

    Top with sliced fruit and coconut flakes. Serve warm.


You can replace the brown sugar with grated palm sugar for a more Asian twist.
