Can you ever go wrong with a potato bake? Everyone will love this hearty dinner treat.


  • 40g of Western Star Original Butter

  • 8 potatoes, thickly sliced

  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely sliced

  • 350ml Anchor Thickened Cream

  • 250ml milk

  • ½ packet of Perfect Italiano™ Perfect Bakes

  • Fresh thyme

  • Salt & black pepper


  • 1.

    Preheat oven to 200 °C

  • 2.

    Grease baking dish with butter.

  • 3.

    Slice potatoes into finger width slices and finely slice the garlic. Layer potato and garlic in baking dish.

  • 4.

    Mix thickened cream, milk, thyme and ½ pack of Perfect Italiano Perfect Bakes in a bowl, season with salt and pepper then pour over potatoes.

  • 5.

    Bake in oven for 1 hour until potatoes are tender and cheese is melted golden brown.
