Love French fair? This gourmet dish straight from New Caledonia will inspire.


  • 400g of tuna, sliced thickly

  • 10 slice of bacon

  • 2 cups of creme

  • 3 carrots

  • 3 turnips

  • 3 zucchini

  • 1 onion

  • 1 bunch thyme

  • 1 glass of white wine

  • Butter


  • 1.

    Wrap tuna with a slice of bacon and fix it with a wooden toothpick

  • 2.

    Blanch the vegetables

  • 3.

    Slice the remaining slices of bacon

  • 4.

    Saute onion in butter along with chopped bacon , thyme, and with white wine. Add the cream and let reduce 

  • 5.

    Fry the tuna hearts in oil and remove the toothpick

  • 6.

    Assemble by laying down blanched vegetables, tuna, then dress with sauce
