Great with friends and a cold beer or wine.



  • 6 Medium Potato’s peeled and cut into 20mm size

  • 2 teaspoons of sesame seeds

  • ¼ teaspoon Cardamom seeds

  • 125 grams butter

  • 1 tablespoon chopped spring onion

  • 1 large clove of garlic crushed

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • ½ cup water

    Place cubed potato in a covered microwave dish and add water, Cook on high for 7 minutes.

  • 3.

    Remove potato and strain in a colander and allow to cool

  • 4.

    Add butter to a medium pan with medium heat and melt

  • 5.

    Add garlic and sesame seeds to butter and quickly cook, be careful not to burn, This is to release the flavours.

  • 6.

    Add cooled potato to pan and turn occasionally to keep moving

  • 7.

    As the potato starts to brown it would be cooked, Check a piece and see

  • 8.

    Serve with a garnish of chopped spring onion
