For Anzac Day, you can't go past this Aussie favourite.
Pre-heat oven to 150 degrees celsius.
Melt butter and golden syrup in a large saucepan. Add bi-carb soda mixed with boiling water.
Combine all dry ingredients. Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients. Mix to a moist but firm consistency.
Drop teaspoonfuls of mixture onto a greased baking tray. Bake until golden brown, approximately 15-20 minutes.
Cool and store in an airtight container.
Note: For thinner crisper biscuits add an extra teaspoon of boiling water.
