This delicious smoothie recipe by Brenda Janschek is guaranteed to make your skin glow and your hair shine. 


  • Handful baby spinach

  • 1 small cucumber, quartered

  • 1 green apple, quartered

  • handful of mint

  • ½ lime, skin and pith removed

  • ½ cup raw almonds

  • 1 heaped teaspoon chia seeds

  • 1 cm piece ginger, peeled

  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

  • 200mls coconut water

  • 1 tablespoon grass fed gelatin (optional)

  • Lots of ice


  • 1.

    Blend in a high powered blender until smooth and serve.
