Mango Daquiris


  • 1 ripe mango peeled, seeded and chopped

  • 0.25 cup Lime juice 2 limes

  • 1 teaspoon sugar syrup

  • 0.75 cup white Rum

  • crushed Ice


  • 1.

    Place the mango and lime juice in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a steel blade. Process until blended. Add the sugar syrup and the rum. Pulse to mix.

  • 2.

    Pour the mixture over a glass full of crushed ice.


To make sugar syrup, heat 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan until the sugar dissolves.

Well, we tried this recipe and followed the list of ingredients to the letter. We found it too bitter to drink. I think the list of ingreients needs checking for the correct amounts,re- the amount of rum and the amount of sugar syrup.
