New Orleans Barbeque Prawns

Served with crusty bread, this dish is spicy, smoky and zesty.


  • 1kg raw prawns, peeled and deveined

  • 100g butter, melted

  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed

  • 6 tbsp olive oil

  • 4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 4 tbsp lemon juice

  • ½ tsp McCormick Chilli Flakes

  • ¼ cup McCormick Grill Mates Vintage Smokehouse BBQ Sauce

  • 2 tsp McCormick Smoked Paprika

  • 2 tsp McCormick Dried Oregano

  • McCormick Sea Salt and Black peppercorns, ground


  • 1.

    Melt butter and oil in a medium saucepan with the garlic.

  • 2.

    Add all other ingredients and simmer on a low- medium heat for 10-15 minutes. Allow to cool.

  • 3.

    Add prawns to sauce, and marinate for a couple of hours in fridge.

  • 4.

    Preheat oven 180 °C

  • 5.

    Place prawns & sauce in a heat proof oven dish and bake for 15-20 mins.

  • 6.

    Serve with crusty bread.
