This recipe is a flavour explosion with ginger, garlic, mushrooms, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots and coriander, just to name a few ingredients!
Heat vegetable oil in a medium pan and brown mince in batches. Add carrot, ginger and garlic and cook for 2 mins. Add mushrooms and recipe base and cook for a further 5 mins.
Stir through shallots, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, soy sauce and sesame oil.
Serve to the table with lettuce leaves and a large bowl of the meat served separately for everyone to assemble themselves. Top with coriander and eat immediately.
