Try this recipe for absolutely irresistible vanilla chocolate chip cookies.


  • 125g butter

  • 1 cup caster sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tsp pure Broken Nose Vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp Broken Nose Ground Vanilla (for extra oomph)

  • 1 1/2 cups self raising flour

  • 250g choc bits


  • 1.

    Blend butter and sugar in a mixer

  • 2.

    Add vanilla extract and ground vanilla

  • 3.

    Add egg and mix thoroughly

  • 4.

    Stir in the flour until the mixture is doughy

  • 5.

    Add most of the choc bits, reserving some to add to each cookie ball

  • 6.

    Roll the cookie dough into small balls and place on a baking tray

  • 7.

    Bake for 10-15 minutes at 180°C
