Pear, Pecan and Coconut Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup(s) dry rolled oats

  • 1 cup(s) skim milk

  • 1 medium fresh pear

  • 5 piece(s) pecans

  • 1 tbs desiccated coconut or shredded

  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Method

  • 1.

    Cook 1/3 cup oats with 1 cup skim milk, ½ diced pear, 5 chopped pecans and 1 tbs shredded coconut.

  • 2.

    Serve with remaining ½ diced pear and drizzle with 1 tsp maple syrup.
