This Korean favourite is made with beef, pear and pine nuts.
In a large mixing bowl, combine meat, grated pear, onion, garlic, soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil and pinch salt and pepper. Leave to marinate for approximately 30 minutes.
Heat a heavy based pan and add olive oil. Cook marinated fillet for around 3 minutes, adding the juice so as not to dry the beef. Add sesame seeds, pine nuts, red peppers and spring onions and cook for another minute.
Serve on lettuce leaves with kimchi and steamed rice.
