Charred Vegetables & Licorice


  • 200g baby carrots

  • 200g Spanish onion

  • 200g pumpkin

  • 200g beetroot

  • 6 cloves garlic

  • 1 tsp licorice root

  • 30ml olive oil

  • 30ml balsamic

  • salt pepper


  • 1.

    Cut the vegetables into irregular shapes.

  • 2.

    Wrap in foil with licorice, oil, salt and a little balsamic, cook over coals for 10 – 15 minutes Remove from foil and char on the BBQ.

  • 3.

    Season with the cooking juices.
