Spinach Fettuccini with Green Beans & Pesto Genovese

Try this beautiful pasta recipe!


  • 1pkt San Remo spinach fettuccini

  • ½ cup of fresh peas

  • ½ cup green beans, blanched and cut into 1cm pieces

  • 2tbsp olive oil

  • Ingredients for pesto:

  • 1cup of basil leaves (reserve 6 leaves for garnish)

  • ¼ cup of pine nuts

  • 1 garlic clove

  • 1tbsp salt

  • ½ cup grated pecorino

  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil


  • 1.

    Place all ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth.

  • 2.

    Cook pasta as per packet directions.

  • 3.

    Heat olive oil, peas and beans in a pan on medium heat. Cook for 2mins.

  • 4.

    Add pesto to the pan and reduce to low heat.

  • 5.

    Strain the pasta and keep a little pasta water if needed.

  • 6.

    Add the pasta to pan and toss through pesto. If a little dry, add a small amount of pasta water. Serve and garnish with basil leaves.
