  • 375gm of tin pureed chestnuts

  • 1 litre chicken stock

  • Splash cream

  • ½ onion

  • ½ stick celery

  • Salt, pepper


  • 1.

    Sauté finely chopped onion and celery

  • 2.

    Add stock

  • 3.

    Sieve puree into liquid (to dissuade lumping) and bring to the boil.

  • 4.

    Condiments to taste. Splash of cream.
